Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, I’ve always had a hunger for more adventure, more growth, and more chances to carve out a path that’s truly my own. Life at home wasn’t always ideal, but I’ve been grateful to have two strong arms, two steady legs, and a mind that never stops moving. That’s more than enough to chase something better.
After graduating high school in 2012, I knew I couldn’t stay in one place if I wanted to experience the world. So I took a leap and moved to Ontario. I was blown away by how expansive it is, so many cultures, communities, and opportunities in one province. Without a clear direction at first, I threw myself into everything I could: farming, running a restaurant, working in autobody. Each experience gave me a new perspective and helped shape who I am. I’ve always believed that character is built through stepping outside your comfort zone.
In early 2023, I joined a Brand Ambassador program, not just to work, but to challenge myself. I wanted to grow my communication skills, explore sales, and learn how to really connect with people. I leaned into the opportunity, applied myself, and consistently sought feedback from my manager. That drive led to a promotion to Team Leader in a short time, where I found a real passion for leading and mentoring others.
As a Team Leader, I quickly learned that no two Sales Experts are the same. Everyone brings something unique to the table. I’ve made it a point to understand their strengths and help them see different angles, especially when it comes to selling. Sometimes it’s just about changing the words to change the outcome.
In July 2023, I was honoured to be selected for the Corners program. I knew I had big shoes to fill following a strong leadership team, but I embraced the challenge. Since then, I’ve focused on leading with grit, humility, and confidence. I encourage my team to ask questions, own their growth, and push forward no matter the obstacle.
I wouldn’t be where I am without the guidance and support of my managers. Their mentorship has made a lasting impact, and I’m truly proud to be part of this team.
Money matters, it opens doors and creates experiences, but what I’ve gained here so far goes beyond that. The growth, the learning, and the people I’ve met have all been priceless.
My favourite quote: “If anything is worth doing, do it with all your heart.” – Buddha
